Hi, every one. I'm here from the LBT forum. Congratulations on a doing such a terrific a job of setting up this forum -- and so quickly!

I'm pre-band. I've already gone for some of my pre-op testing. Ran into a small glitch a couple of weeks ago, but further testing showed everything is okay. I have a couple of more pre-op things to take care of (does it ever end??!!) and I'll be ready to go. I sway back and forth between should I or shouldn't I get the band, but from what I read just about everyone goes through these second thoughts.

Anyway, I'm happy I found b2g.

Hi Debi,

Welcome to b2g! I went through the same thing, should I, shouldn't I, should I, shouldn't I? I finally decided that if I wanted something to really change, I was going to have to MAKE it change and the lap band was the way to make that happen.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where you're from, height and weight, final straw, etc. If you're comfortable sharing that is.

It's so nice to meet you debi! I'm glad you found us! The band is not without it's problems, but to me the positives far outweighed the negatives! And this is coming from a woman who had a flipped port & couldn't even get a first fill for months. My band was worth every red cent I had to pay for it!!! Welcome!!!
