I've decided to switch jobs right after the holidays. We have alot of new retail venues coming to town in the form of a huge shopping complex since our town is right off the interstate.
I've always been in mgt. but decided to lessen my stress load by stepping back and with that decision came the paycheck that's 1/3 of what I used to make. Having lost this weight I feel up for the added work load and decided to make my move after some investigation into what will be available here in town. There are many things I want, including my surgery and a new SUV.
My question is this........if I make this move, how do I find out about ins coverage before I make a commitment. If the option is available to get banded, I'd like to know before hand.
Does anyone have any experience finding these things out before commiting to a new job?

You could ask the employer who the insurer is and what level of benefits they bought, then you could call and ask if the surgery is covered. Or the employer might be able to tell you if you think asking them won't harm you in any way.

Thanks......I never imagined I'd come to this....but I'm just not happy with my pay or benefits so this seems like the best way to kill two birds with one stone. I just want this surgery done once and for all...feel like I'm in a holding pattern. Of course there's always the chance I will still be able to get there on my own. But I've gained and lost so many times over the years.....that's what I worry most about..........gaining it all back. That's the biggest reason I want to get banded....it'll always be there.
