Question about recovery

I will be scheduling my surgery soon. What is the average time for recovery??
My goal is to make my daughter wait on me:):):) LOL
I am trying to plan accordingly

I had my surgery on Aug 21st and I am at my office right now. I will probably only work short days this week. This too is all over the place. i talked to one woman who only took off 3 days. I had a 23hr stay in the surgery center and then I went home ALONE. I didn't have any problems, my daughter brought me whatever I needed from the store and checked in on me, mostly I slept and watched junk TV....it was great!

I had surgery on the 22nd. I'm going to work tomorrow. Surgery was around 3 pm on the 22nd and the Doctor released me at 9 am on the 23 rd. Like LaDonna, I'm pretty much taking it easy. If you do have to go out, take advantage of the motor scooters. They made a HUGH difference.

I took off about 10 days from work and I'm glad I did. But everyone is different...some people only take a few days off. Maybe plan for a little bit longer than you need and if you feel up to it you can go back early. Good luck!
