I wanted to be sure that everything would be ok before making this announcement - But it's me! I'm having a lap band baby, and I couldn't be more excited.

I got my hormone test levels back today and feel so blessed and excited. It'll be interesting to see how this pregnancy differs from that of my son's, and my OB is making me see a nutritionist down at Beaumont who is familiar with the Lap Band, and also with the OB side of things as well.

My OB is amazing. He is so awesome about doing what is right for the mothers, as well as for the babies. I cannot say enough good about him.

Thanks for creating this board, and it's awesome to see that I'll have a pregnant band sister to go through this with. There are no other banded people here in this area that I'm aware of, so this will be my sole place for support.

No unfill for me yet. I only have 3ccs in a Vanguard band, and can eat most everything with ease. I have to really chew up lettuce, breads, and thick things like ricotta and melted cheese - but otherwise I'm good. I'll definately get an unfill if I feel I need to though.

My OB is sending me to see a nutritionist that is familiar with the lap band, and also with OB matters, so that will be wonderful to receive that kind of information and support.

I'll keep you all updated as I find out more, which should be in a few weeks.

I'll have a due date in just under a few weeks. My OB's office called today and they'll do another ultrasound that day, and then give me a due date.

I have a guess.....but I'll wait and see what they tell me. Then I can give you guys a report based on the facts, not me guessing. LOL
