Asheville dinner

Okay, girls! Lets get a head count of who all will be coming to dinner Saturday. My understanding is we're looking at 6:00 pm at Outback Steakhouse on Tunnel Rd. It would probably help if we knew how many were coming so we could do call ahead seating. They tend to be rather busy on Saturday night and we don't want to have to wait an hour to get a table!

I'll definitely be there, may be just me or me and my mom. Who else is in?

Okay, Kathy and her sister Christie. Unless she bails, but I think she's actually looking forward to it! We have worked out all the kinks, I think. I'm afraid to get excited, but, by golly, I think I am! :D

I wish I were coming, but if I weren't taking our church senior adults on a day trip, I'd be home painting the house. Travel safe and have a great time!

I am hoping to meet up Sunday with at least Susan....I hate I will miss Saturday night but we are celebrating birthday's Saturday night so I can't make it. Take pics please I want to see!!!!! If Susan is there I know there better be GOOD pictures.

So its just me, Kathy, Kathy's sis, and Tonya.. oh, and Divagirl PM'd me that she and her DH will be there. Does anyone have an exact address for Outback? If so, we might want to post it here.

I'm really sorry about those of you who wont be able to join us. I was so hoping to meet all of you. Ah well, life happens!

The address for Outback is 30 Tunnel Rd. It sits back off the road so it's easy to miss! Coming from Susan's hotel or from the highway exit it is on the right hand side of the road. You turn at the redlight right before the tunnel on a drive that runs between Dairy Queen and a tire store (can't remember the name, Mountain Tire maybe?). The drive is also directly across the street from the old WalMart. It's not a WalMart anymore because we have a new Super WalMart, but you can tell that it used to be. If you are worried about getting lost or having any trouble finding it, PM me and I'll give you my cell number to call. I won't be home until late tonight to answer your PM because I'm getting ready to leave for Concord and my appointment with Dr. Bauman, but I will answer when I get online tonight! Can't wait to meet everyone! Right now, it looks like we have 6, maybe 7 if my mom comes with me.

Okay, Tonya, just want to make sure I know where I'm going...

I'll be coming into town from Hickory on I-40. I'll go ahead and exit in Black Mountain for old times sake, and take Hwy 70 into Ashville.

Now, it's been a looong time since I have been there...but I'll head towards the Mall and stay to the right, and get onto Tunnel Road, right? Then Outback is on the right just before entering the tunnel?

It'll be up off the road at the red light right before you get to the tunnel. It does not sit right on the road; however, the sign does. There's a Cracker Barrel, an empty building that used to be Joe's Crab Shack, and then Outback.
