Hey Cynthia - thanks for the pics! They're so inspiring. Question: Do you have a problem with the carbonation in beer? I love beer but my doc says no carbonation. I've heard from others that carbonation causes them pain. What's it like for you? What does your doc say about carbonation? And how far out from surgery were you before you tried it?

well when I first get adjusted I stay completely away from carbonation...i can handle a coke every now and then, but i try to keep it out of the house.... i stay completely away from beer, it hurts me bad, especially right after being adjusted.....but when im not as adjusted i can drink carbonation without proble...

Thank you Heather....I look at you and I am just wowed on the great job you did with loosing your weight and keeping it off.
It seems here lately I can find excuse for anything and I think that gives me a pass on eating right and exercising, but it doesnt.

I think I need to be locked up away from food right now untill i get back on the loosing train!! LOL

I sure know what you mean... I can most definitely get out of control. I will sit down with a tall glass of milk and a stack of cookies and just eat until I can't anymore and then I am thinking that nothing has changed at all. It just takes a lot of dam work!!! :)

Hey just a question from a bandless person. Are you really able to drink a whole glass of milk and cookies? Does the milk just wash the cookies into your stomach? Is this how people get into trouble with the band?

Yes, I can dip my cookies in milk and eat them, and drink milk. I believe that anything in moderation is ok. BUT, I am also at goal weight and not trying to lose weight.
So, yes, physically I personally can do that with no problems... but that is not good for anyone to do that is trying to lose weight obviously.
You do have to be careful with the band, because some things will go right thru.
