so yesterday we went to walmart and picked up this brand new scale. its really cool! It does everything. I used to be totally skeptical of these things but it was spot on!! I was impressed!
Its a health0meter from walmart, cost me 38.88, and it gives your hydration level, body fat percentage, and your weight, plus you can store up to 4 people's info on it. I was totally stoked getting it.
It took me FOREVER to figure out how to get on it without it giving me an error. LOL But once I did I was amazed at how right on it was.
Also, it goes up to 380 pounds accurately! So those who have not gotten a scale yet because of your size, this one goes pretty high! And it reads the numbers in .1 increments. Not .5 which I can't stand.

LOL
it took me forever, but the instructions finally became clear. in order to get all the info on body fat and that stuff you have to program in your info. height, age, gender, etc.

Its not the same as mine, but mine had the body fat thing on it too. If my feet are wet, it give a false reading.I do it before I take a shower in the morning.

I have a HealthOMeter brand scale too! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles yours does, but it's always right on the money with my Dr's scales. Great brand!

flower. it took me a few times to figure it out. you have to preprogram in all of your info to one of the numbers. then once it is programmed, you just tap your number (mine is #2) wait for it to zero out, then step on it.
One thing we have found. Our old scale was just a simple digital scale. You could get on it 3 times in a row and get 3 different readings every single time. This one I get on it over and over and it gives me consistent numbers. I am quite impressed. No more 5 pound swings depending on the scales mood. (I concur with telly that some scales are possessed by the devil!!)

Funny - I'm so glad you posted this. I have a helathometer too and I didn't know it did all this cool stuff. Dumb me. Anyway, without the directions, their long gone in the trash, I figured out how to program my info in. However, I can't figure out how to change the time and date. Do you know how??
Thanks!!

Thanks Funny.
Yea - my body fat is 42.7% That's not good. I'm going to have to get the LL Cool J workout book you like so much. Is it good for beginners? (I know I'm kinda hijacking here - sorry) I've been doing the cardio, but not much strength training and I really don't know where to begin.
