He has been great if anyone wants a reccomend for the DC/Northern VA area. His son is also in practice with him, his name is Eric. The office is in the same building as Reston Hospital Center. He is kind, gentle and makes me feel like a success even though I havent even gotten my first fill yet! His self pay is I think about 17K, but not sure as insurance paid for mine.

Dr. R Pinnar is no longer doing LapBand surgery and his son Eric abandoned his lapband practice & left many patients high and dry. I do not have any experience with Eric, but my experience with Dr. Robert Pinnar's office has been not so pleasant. My doc refused to see me due to an unpaid balance and would not give me my records. I had to file a complaint with the medical board to get a copy of my records so I could find a doctor that would see me. I have insurance and everything is covered.... but somehow Pinnar required a huge "program fee" and I had to pay for my fills done in the office. I'm considering following up to see if there was any insurance fraud involved with this situation.
