So I am working on the 3 month program that is needed for my insurance to pay for the lap band. The sports Physiologist, and nutritionist I am working with thought we should get a better reading of where I am starting from so yesterday I did a BOD POD test. (www.bodpod.com (http://www.bodpod.com/))
I was a little shocked by the numbers, but they are what they are. Any my sports Physiologist, and nutritionist use the numbers to correct my diet and set goals.
% fat 53.4
% fat free mass 46.6
fat mass 165.5
fat free mass 144.3
body mass 309.9
RMR ( resting metabolic rate) 1993
A women minimal "essential body fat" range is between 12 - 15 % just to be healthy. And I have a 144.3 lbs of skin, bones, and other non fat body mass, my goal bmi is 25 % which should be about 175 - 180 lbs. So my goal is to loose about 129 lbs.
