Well, Neal, this is a great idea for a thread. Maybe I can meet some others in the Denton/Frisco area since that's where I'm at!! Plan on being at the Jason's in Denton on Thursday for the dinner. The first Thursday of every month we meet from around 6:30-8:30 at Jason's Deli across from Golden Triangle Mall, near 35/Loop 288. All are welcome to come!!

ohh kk...I know exactly where that is, Im not sure of the subdivision they live in, I know you turn right at the light by the highschool and take that road all the way down, passed the big church!!
May I ask if you attend church? If so they attend Wylie Baptist, the boys also go to school there.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I got my approval on Saturday. Stilll have couple more things to get done and then get my surgery date. I cant wait to be a card carrying, full fledged , banded lady. This is the start of a band new life. Thanks for all the prayers and support and Neal congrats on your surgery. How are things going? Keep me in your prayers.

I just joined b2g the other day after meeting a member online. I have my pre-op today and surgery next tuesday. I'm so excited but nervous. I live and teach in Wylie and this website is going to be a God send because the doctor's support group meets at Plano Presby off the toll way and parker. from wylie that is a drive...and did i mention I'm a poor teacher!

My biggest challenge is finding a good protein drink. I also don't think I'm drinking enough water but I am really amazed at how easy I have settled into the limited foods although I would have liked one more all out dining extravaganza, it's probably better this way! Wish me luck!

I'm having my surgery tomorrow morning and also live in Wylie (the weird part in Rockwall county!). After I get past the liquid and into the mushy phase I'd love to get together. I'm nervous, but so excited. I'm wondering if I'll get ANY sleep tonight, I know I'll get some tomorrow! Neal, I did mention you to Dr. Cribbins at my pre-op but not by name, I didn't know if that was ok. I'll tell him hi for you tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Well Neal I hate six flags with a passion but I would be up for meeting everyone for breakfast or dinner. Im not banded yet. Will be banded on Oct 1st in Monterrey mexico. yeah i have a home!! Neal it was either lindale or whitehouse when we moved. i wanted out of Tyler so bad. my whole family lives there and they bring way too much drama!

This is such a late reply, but Neal, I have been on B2G since 2007 and we are just around the corner from each other.......literally! I live in Rowlett and work in/around Wylie. I am going to change surgeons...........going to attempt to see Dr. Cribbins. He did a great non WLS procedure for my husband years ago.
