My First Fill!!

I HAD MY FIRST FILL. POKED 4 TIMES & FINDLY FOUND IT. IT WAS A NEW ADVENTURE. I AM SURE IT GETS EASIER (I HOPE SO). JACKIE TOLD ME AT MEETING NO BIG DEAL,WELL I HAD THAT THOUGHT IN MY MIND TILL # 3 POKE. i FEEL DIFFERENT. ITS A FEELING OF NAUSEA & YOUR FULL? I AM EATING HALF OF WHAT I WAS EATING. WELL I WILL SEE ALL YOU GUYS NEXT MONTH.

COngratulations on first fill!, it does get easier as you lose weight because the Dr can find your port more easily. It sounds like you survived well and also sounds like you have some restriction- becareful with your eating until you get used to how the fill feels. take smaller bites, chew like crazy and eat more slowly

Sorry your first fill was a bit rough....It does sound like you have good restirction and like Karen said take it easy for a few days until you figure out the feeling with have a fill. Normally for me the first day things don't change much for me then thenext day I really notice a change so just take it easy and you will do great. Keep us posted and I truely am sorry you got poked 4 times but just think you have more restriction then you did going in. Have a great weekend!!

Congrats. Sounds like you have good restriction with it. Like the other said, it gets easier each time. I go for my 6th fill next week :)

I have my first fill July 2nd...since Dr Anderson is on vacation at the end of June. I am anxious to get it ...I have been pushing the boundries of soft foods. Sounds like its another one of those things that can be a little different for everyone. I'm a little nervous too but mostly excited to get to that point. Best Wishes....maybe you'll be one of those that doesnt have to have so many fills to find the "sweet spot".
