Working out....so the first 9 months after my surgery I went to the Y 3 - 4 times a week to do water classes. LOVED THEM!!!! Then March 06 I started working for my surgeon, my hours got changed and my life went crazy....so yes I work for my surgeon and stopped going. So 3 weeks ago I went to ladies work out express (it's like a curves only cheaper). I have been having a lot of back, hip, neck and knee problems so I thought it would help. (Not sure it is helping) BUT I feel great. I can't wait to see what the next few months bring for me and my body!!!!

I am excited and just wanted to share!!!!

Yay Kim! Isnt it strange that we can get out of the habit of doing something that is so enjoyable and so beneficial for us?

Glad to hear that you're finding the time and will power to get back into it. Sara and I have been doing the water aerobic classes too. I was worried at first when I saw all of the little old men and women getting into the pool. I just knew it wasnt going to be enough to really help us, but I swear those old folks rock! That class kicks our butts!

Im sure you'll begin seeing some great results in no time at all. Keep moving!

Thanks everyone!!!! I has been wonderful....Susan when I was doing those water classes girl I would come out sweating so bad. I really felt it. I miss them but this is just more affordable for me.

Between T-ball practice and working out - I feel GREAT!!!!

Good for you!!! I used to do Curves and loved it! Now I'm doing the Y 3 times a week - doing the weights.

Think I may need to check into the water classes - - although I think they are typically during the day when I'm at work. That and the thought of putting on a swimsuit gives me gas pains!

But can't wait to hear about how svelte and healthy and wonderfully you are looking and feeling.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Kim. You're quite an inspiration for me. I am thinking it's time for me to get back to work soon, so seeing you take care of yourself WHILE working is a great motivator for me.

Kim, that is great your back to working out. I sure hope it does make you feel better. Working out makes me feel better. Some days my arthritis doesn't like me doing it but I do it. On days I am real sore I take it light but do some type of exercise, even if I just walk around my neighborhood.

Good for you for taking care of Kim.

Kim that is great to hear. I have been a slacker with working out lately and I really need to figure out what I will do on a daily basis that will keep me going. I hope you continue to enjoy this!

That is great Kim! I am trying to get back into the swing of things also... it isn't helping that my hours at work just got bumped up to 60's! I am VERY happy for you! We all need exercise to get thru this battle!
