Well, I will be the first to introduce my self...
I'm SunnyBunny, and I live in an igloo. (Well it's an igloo/bungalow...a bungaloo. I have a pet beaver (yes I have shaved him just for fun)and I am obese because I only drink maple syrup and eat Canadian bacon (although here we just call it "ham").
I speak the 2 official languages: FrEnglish and Hockey.
I have great health care but I chose to self pay because I am from Alberta oil country and, therefore, have money to burn.
I am mostly here to make some friends because there is only one person per 7 kilometers and I get lonely.
Thanks for listening, Hosers.

Hello!!! *waves way too enthusiatic-like*
Hey Sunnybunny - my grandfather and his siblings lived in Alberta - they must have struck oil long after he was gone lol
Last one was in the 80's
Funny thing...
You still occasionally see bumper stickers on old farm trucks that say,"Dear God, if there is another oil boom I promise not to piss it away again"
Well there is...and we are.
PS
That makes you an honorary Canadian. Here. Have a 7% alcohol beer.:Banane35:

I'm not from Canada, but I'm your neighbor here in Michigan. I looooovvvve Canada, and have visited many places there throughout my life. At one point my husband and I considered moving to Canada, but then we learned about all of the taxes and that pretty much put an end to that pipe dream.
May I ask what province are you from? I used to have a friend who lived in Edmonton and I learned about how cold the winters there could be. And I thought we had it bad here in MI!
Anywho.....hope you're having an excellent winter thus far. Try to stay warm, eh!

I'm from Alberta. Living in Grande Prairie, which is about 5 hours north-ish of Edmonton. Same weather, pretty much. We haven't got any snow yet...which is wierd. Global warming I guess. There are crazy cold snaps...we get at least one or two per year...a day or two of minus forty. Brrrr.... I just stay in bed and think warm thoughts when it happens.:party6:
Take care everybody!!!!:canada:

Hi! I'm from Winnipeg!! Finally a few Canadians to talk to about this whole banding thing. Hopefully, my banding will happen in June 2008. Or maybe if I can scrape together the money, sooner. I'm curious to know where you other Canucks got your banding done. I am planning on Mexico, cause there was no way I could afford the $18000 there were asking here in Winnipeg. Can't wait to hear from you guys!!!
Hugs! It's so cold here! I need some:sun_smiley:

Hello SunnyBunny,
I am Canadian! I live in an Igloo and a newbie! So bare with me while I learn. I was banded one week ago in Mazatlan Mexico, *Cry* Yes I am home now! I was hoping that there might be a few more Canadians here as well, as I still do not know where I am going to get my fills?? I have heard that they do them in Grande Prairie and will start to call around next week. Do you happen to have any info to share?
