I'm near the end, but not near enough for baby to be considered term yet. I have been having some mega contractions on and off the last week and it's driving me nutso! I never had this with my son (who was my first), and didn't realize how overwhelming some of these braxton hicks could be with the second one. My provider has since told me that it is common to have these with the second and beyond pregnancies, and that they are just bothersome more than anything. Oh how she is right on that!
I'm definately looking forward to being done with pregnancy, and having baby here on the outside with me. Only a few more weeks until we're considered term and safe to deliver. Come on time - hurry up!

Oh the Braxton Hicks can be incredibly powerful. I"d get them every time I began to move from being still, and it made exercise (just walking) very difficult, I felt my belly squeeze tight enough to crack my backbone! It didnt hurt in the same way that real contractions hurt it was just mucho weird.
Wait for the afterpains when you're feeding! They're a surprise after your second pregnancy.
My sister just had a baby 2 weeks ago and she suffered from Braxton Hicks contractions for the last 2 1/2 months! She was miserable. I hope you feel better...

I was kinda hoping that the Braxton hicks and afterpains would both be less with the second and beyond babies. they were bad enough for me the first time around!
Not long to go now - we're all cheering you on, and waiting anxiously to meet the little one!

Time will pass and you'll be holding your baby soon..in the mean time we're all here rubbing your back and saying soothing things and you can yell at us all you like when it gets really frustrating- we can take it!

Holy smokes they're at it again! I literally had to breathe through them today while driving in the van. That was a little scary.
It won't be long now! Woohoo!!!!!
