I hurt my back

How you ask??
By walking around the mall Weds night and making the conscious decision to keep good posture and hold in my stomach. (for about 2 hrs)
Thurs morning, my back was a little stiff, didnt pay much attention to it.. Aunt Flow got to town
I went to the grocery store last night and realised I was slouching so I stood straighter and sucked in my stomack, and oh my good God, I though someone kicked me in my back.

I need some good tips on how to get my back muscles strenght up to snuff.

My back is ok this morning, but I know I need some back excersices.

get some of those workout bands and do the workouts for the back muscles, or if you belong to a gym go in and ask a trainer or assistant if they can show you a few good back exercises. back strength is something i lacked as well, and i would get really bad pain after of sitting upright for a while. screw good posture. lol you can also try getting a back brace to wear under your clothes, that will help. they even make posture bras. LOL and they work too! Its just all muscle memory. and it is hard to get that muscle memory to change.

Oh no!

I once hurt my back really really badly when I was about 4 months pregnant with my first, I walked around sticking my stomach out so hard and arching my back trying to look pregnant. D'oh.

Given that I dont even get much of a bump till at least 24 weeks, that was wishful thinking. I thought I'd be looking all womanly and fertile at 12 weeks, no way!

Hey Mrs Sabre,
I had liked your avatar ever since I noticed it and yesterday my 20 yr. old son who still lives at home and getting married in July came home with a motorcyle on the back of a trailer and said Mom, I just went 9000 dollars in debt and I said OMG, that's beautiful and it just hit me, it's a 07 Honda Shadow 1100 Sabre and it looks just like your avatar. It's gray with black flames on the gas tank. He took me riding on it today. Just thought it was odd how much I liked your avatar and then he brings one home and it hits me, lol.
