I have a surgery date!!!

Hello All,

I finally have a surgery date and I am so excited. It has been a long journey, a little over a year but I am finally having surgery on April 2, 2007. I am a little nervous but I am more excited. I am looking forward to my new life. I know that it may bring some challenges but I feel like I am up for it.

I have been reading the boards for a little over a month now and it is so filled with great people and lots of wonderful information.

I am glad to be apart!!!!

Hey rlewis!

I have my surgery date as well...March 19th! I've researched the lapband for about a year and then decided to take the plunge, it is certainly for me! We should keep in touch and compare stories!!

I congratulate you. I am getting banded on April 16th. We will have to band together and be the April Fools or something like that. I am excited too.

Congrats on your surgery date. I have been exploring this for about 2 years and have gotten a couple of friends interested enough that they have already been banded. I have my first appointment in Everett washington April 2nd. Hope I will not have a long wait for a surgery date . I will be watching for your posts to see how things go.
