A ticker is a weightloss tracker that can be displayed within your signature line. Below are the steps for adding a ticker, using TickerFactory as an example:
1. Go to www.tickerfactory.com
2. Click on Weightloss
3. Select a ticker ruler. View all available by clicking on the page numbers. Once you have selected the one you want to use, click Next.
4. Select a ticker slider. View all available by clicking on the page numbers. Once you have selected the one you want to use, click Next.
5. Enter a password/pin number and select either public or private data.
6.If you wish the ticker to show your current weight and countdown to your goal weight, select Weight.
7. If you wish the ticker to show only the amount of weight you wish to lose and how much you've lost, (not your current or goal weight) select Weight Change.
8. Select the measure of weight you wish to use.
9. Enter your starting, current, and goal weights.
10. Enter your measurements if so desired.
11. Enter your height in the BMI section, and then click Next.
12. You will now be on the final page. Select the size and background you wish to be displayed.
13. Scroll down on the same page, click on the text that inside the bbCode box, and then type Alt + A. This will highlight all of the text in the code box. Now type Alt + C to copy the hightlighted text. (If the text becomes unhighlited, you will need to type Alt + A to reselect the text for copying)

14. Go to b2g and click on the Settings button at the top right side of the page.
15, Click on Edit Signature on the left side under the My Settings bar.
16. Click in your signature box and type Ctrl + V to paste the code into the signature box. Note: It will paste wherever your cursor is. Click Save Signature.
(Ctrl + V or Ctrl + A or Ctrl + C all mean to hold down the Ctrl and specified letter key at the same time)
To update a ticker, simply click on the ticker in your signature line (this can be in any post where your signature line appears). A new window will open for tickerfactory. Enter your password and updated information there. The ticker in your signature will automatically reflect the changes.
