Options to personalize your account can be accessed by clicking on the Settings link, which is located at the top of every page on the right side, between My Profile and Logout.
Here are some of the basic options in the Settings menu:
My Messages
Inbox: The location of all new PMs (private messages) sent to you by other users.
My Subscriptions
List Subscriptions: Here you can set your options for receiving email notifications of posts made to subscribed threads and private messages. You can also customize the way threads are displayed and set your time zone preferences.
My Settings
My Profile (Your profile is information that is visible to all users by clicking on your username anywhere in b2g. Customizing the appearance of your profile (e.g. fonts and backgrounds) will be explained further in this thread)
Edit Profile: Your custom user title is the text that appears beneath your user name when you post.
Edit Profile Picture: Your profile picture is the image which appears within your profile. This can be a different image than the one you chose for your avatar.
Edit Avatar: Your avatar is the image you choose to appear by your user name each time you post. You can select an image from the stock images we have provided for you, or you can personalize your avatar by uploading a picture from your computer. To work properly, avatars must be no larger than 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
Edit Signature: Your signature is the body of text and graphics placed at the bottom of your posts. Many people add in weight loss tickers and amusing or meaningful images to their signatures.
