Dianechef - will you keep us updated on your colon blow adventure over here. Did the package ever arrive or are you still on the front steps with your hands on your hips waiting for the UPS man?
If any of you are shaking your head and wondering if I am crazy, here is the product/website in question that Diane ordered from: www.colonblow.com
If anyone else has tried this product chime in, the website is a riot, I guess if your selling a product called colon blow you have to be slightly off center.
Keep us updated!

w00t! Colon Blow! Funny did this, and I'm sure she'll be happy to tell ya all about her experience with it. The website is indeed a h00t! Dawg walked around the house for a week saying, "Co-lon blow" in a deep ominous voice that cracked me up (oo! unexpected pun) every time.

I ordered the 3 pack last week after y'all talked about colon blow. The pictures do have me concerned -- for my pipes. I mean, are you suppose to let it go down or remove to plastic bag for trash pick-up??
I'll do anything to kick my losing weight back up a notch.

I did this. It was great! I want to make one comment about it all. If you are tight at all, you need to wait till you are not so tight to do this. The liquid you drink is thick and swells. So you have to drink LOTS AND LOTS of water with it.
Other than that little disclaimer....this stuff rocks!!! I really liked it, and plan on doing it again soon. i didn't cramp or anything. And I didn't feel like I was going have an accident, or need to be really close to a toilet all day.

LOL at Funny......how do you recommend that we not be so tight? *snickers* sorry mind is in the gutter back to the regular scheduled topic. You do have to make sure that you drink alot of water follow the products we had someone show up at the hospital that did this procedure. The ended up with a bowel obstruction. They ended up in emergency surgery lost several feel of their intestines and have a colostomy that they are unsure if it will be temporary or permanent. So please................as with anything..........use strict precaution! Not trying to scare anyone just trying to make you aware that if not used properly there is always a chance of severe complications!

You know if I'm going to contribute my poop pix to a company to put on their website, I think I would clean my bathroom and toliet first. I'm actually more grossed out by the background of some of the bathrooms and the dirty toliets than I am the poop.
And why would you put your poop on the actual toliet seat? That's just nasty.

"dancing around the room in circles singing*
My ColonBlow is here! My ColonBlow is here! My ColonBlow is here!!
So, I opened the package & here is what's inside along with directions:
1) A package of tanish colored powder.
2) 6 capsules
I am supposed to put 1 Tbls of the powder into juice or water & drink immediately. Then I take 2 capsules. I start this at dinner time tonight.
Then, the same for breakfast tomorrow.
Same for lunch tomorrow.
They highly suggest I only drink water during this 24 hr. period & that is exactly what I'm doing to try to do. I can expect a release sometime tomorrow between breakfast & lunch. :) :) :)
I am going to go eat right now since I won't be eating for a while!!!
I'll keep you posted!!!!!!!

""ahem" Taking this opportunity for a public service announement-stepping on a soapbox...
At this particular moment I *am* Katie Couric (work with me here people)
If you are 50 or over you will need to have a colonoscopy exam. If it proves clear then you have one every few years or so.
If you are 40 or over and you have a history of colon cancer in your family you need to have your colonoscopy earlier.
I am now back to being just Diva.
I have had 2 colonoscopies. Colon Blow is a pretty good description of the prep involved the day before to that the good doc can get clear view of your lovely insides. You will be so clean your butt will be whistling dixie.
So if you are at all interested in the Colon Blow and you may be at the age where a diagnostic colonscopy should be scheduled, well then take advantage of two for the price of one!
Not to be melodramatic but-it could save your life.
Ok-stepping off soap box.
You may now resume regular programming.

For those who want to see the photos, go to www.colonblow.com.
I didn't start the Colonblow last night. I WANTED to so badly!!! However, my band was so tight last night. I had PB'd on just about everything & wasn't sure it was safe for me to take it. The package states that you shouldn't take this product if you have troubles swallowing. Apparently the stuff swells. So, for my own health's sake, I chose to wait. And, I am so glad I did. This morning I am having a hard time just getting down water!!!! Not sure what the deal is!!
So, as soon as this weird tightness goes away, I will start my Colonblow!!
Sorry, to keep you all in suspense!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clock:

Scenario A. (Aggressive)*
Take Colonblow as suggested.
Scenario B. (Balanced)*
Take Colonblow as suggested while having 'light' meals during your Colonblow.
Scenario C. (Chicken)*
Take Colonblow as suggested while not modifying your diet at all.
Are you suppose to Do liquids all this day for the aggressive?
What did y'all do?
I have classes and don't want to have to GO emergency like during class- Does this cause pressure like a laxative?
I own a enema bag- I use it sometimes- I know that only cleans out the lower parts of your system.

The Super Colon Cleanse is pretty mild. It is basically to be used everyday to help with being "regular". I wouldn't worry about going out, it usually takes 24 hours before working. Some people have to take this product 2 and 3 times a day for it to work - so on the colon blow scale, this is a 1.
By the way, the colonblow website has removed the pictures that used to be on the testimonial page. These were the one's that people had sent to, they were the nasty ones I was referreing to. Maybe someone over at colonblow saw out posts and took off the pics!!

nana, the "release" is not an emergency situation. Do not worry about that. and yeah, during the advanced treatment you drink only liquids that day. we are all used to that.
the thing i like about this plan is that it is a one day thing. i hated those ones where you had to do a month of stuff. this stuff is effective, but does not make you run to the bathroom squeezing cheeks and praying.
i will be doing this again as soon as my stomach muscle pain goes away. diane, i will wait for you to be less restricted and we will do it on the same day.

I'm going to start a Quick Cleanse 15 day internal detox pack tomorrow (21/9/06), it's no way as aggressive, nor marketed with the same humour as Colonblow, but I hope it will help me off onto a good start to life with the band.
It's got four sets of herbal tablets - targeting the stomach, liver, intestines and bowel. It also has detox diet guidelines that mirror nicely with the pre-op diet (which I also start tomorrow). I'll have to add some soluble fibre for the few days when I overlap the detox with the pre-op, as the pre-op diet is very low in dietary fibre.
I guess I won't be blowing so to speak, but maybe more of a quiet woosh! hehehe!

Dam my package hasn't arrived yet, I hoped to do it this weekend. meme here is a link to the usage directions: http://www.colonblow.com/when.htm
We are such a warped bunch, never would I have thought we would all be so interested in poop! We can't wait for the results.
I was watching a show on the Boise State university channel this morning (after my wife left), and the subject of colons came up.
They were saying that it's relatively typical for a colon to be 8 to 9 inches in diameter in a mature adult, but only one inch of that is 'passage' for the poop!
That means there's about 7 to 8 inches of old crap built up in there.
YUCK!
I don't know if I'll choose colon blow as my product, but I gotta lose this crap!!
Has anyone tried anything else? Maybe this can turn into a whole colon cleanse thread :)

I am taking my colon blow this morning for breakfast. I am doing it the aggressive way. Only water for the next 24 hours.well and the colon blow of course.
Last time i did this i lost 2 pounds, and i drank almost 2 gallons of water. So I am sure it was not water weight. And this stuff does swell, so a lot of speculation is that it is just the product that you are eliminating. But honestly if you go in for a high colonic there is no product they are removing from you in that procedure. its all poo. LOL so i know this is doing something.
The weird side effects I noticed by doing this stuff. The ay after I break out like crazy, then my skin gets really clear. I believe my skin is one of my outlets for toxins. Everyone is different. I also notice that I had no gas for about a week. I mean none. And the smell in the bathroom went away completely.
ok...sorry for the tmi, but if you are in this threa then you asked for it. lol

Ok just ordered mine and yes I got the T-Shirt. And I will wear it proud. LOL!!
I will alert you to when mine arrives. I did total body cleanse last year and I felt wonderful. It was for two weeks. It was called Pancha Karma and is derived from India. My skin looked radiant. My hair was silky and shiny. I lost 12 lbs. But man was it hard. Detox is a mo fo. But after the first 24 hours it was all gravy.
I would have already done another one but the person that I went to last year moved to Hawaii. I guess I could stand to go to Hawaii for my next Pancha Karma. Darn the luck. LOL!!
Just "Paul" you crack me up. In fact you all doo (pun intended).

Okay, for those lookin' for details, here you go:
I decided to start the colon blow over the weekend because it just worked better for my schedule. Here's what happened...
I took the first dose in the evening & it was very hard to swallow because of the taste. The capsules went down without a problem. The powder stuff in water made me gag. But, I downed it & was happy it was over with. In the morning, I tried some apple juice instead of water. It made it a little better, but still was hard to get down. At lunch time when I was supposed to take my last dose, I was feeling a little strange. My head was spinning & I knew it was from lack of food. So, I made up a little protein drink & put the powder in it. It tasted much better & I started to feel normal again. I drank a ton of water through out the whole process.
The package said that you should expect your first release about 18 hrs. after you took your first dose. I figured my first release would be at about 2:00. So, I waited & waited & waited........
(To be continued)

Diane - You're killing me!! Don't tell me you are still waiting! It can't be taking this long!! Pretty soon Funny is going to catch up and she just started this morning!!!!

LOL Well I know that she is not blowing up like a balloon, so never fear. but i will let her come back and finish the story.
Diane
09-19-2006, 07:57 AM
And the sequel continues...
I continued to wait!!! 18 hrs came & went and I felt NOTHING! I was afraid to leave the house thinking that perhaps everything was getting all backed up & that the longer it took, the bigger the explosion would be!! LOL I finally went to bed for the night. When I woke up - NOTHING!!! My husband was getting a little antsy now too.
After 36 hrs it finally came!!!!!!! There was no pain. No cramps. No explosions. No drama. It just came out like it normally does. And it looked like it normally did, just a lot more of it. It was a darker color and I could see a little extra STUFF in it. I didn't examine it real close, so I couldn't tell you more then that. But, I can say that I feel better!! I feel energized!!
I did get the acne that Funny was talking about. It was strange!! I normally have pretty good skin & rarely get pimples. But this weekend I had a few craters!! I couldn't figure out what the deal was!!! Then, when I read what Funny said, I knew. Your body is getting rid of the toxins & that is one of the ways it does it. Now my face is nice & clear. It feels extra soft.
Okay, so there you go!!! Please raise your hand if you have any questions for me!! :tongue1:

Funny you are correct! I am a former Esthetician (facials and such) & makeup artist, your skin is part of your excretory system so it makes perfect sense that this "procedure" does indeed result in clear skin.
Good luck to everyone on the Blow!

This afternoon I found a white discreet padded envelope in my mailbox….what could it be…humm……COLONBLOW!!!!! Finally, good thing I was not constipated!
So now the dilemma will be when to start, if I start tonight the literature says that my first “release” could be in 18 hours, well there is no f’ing way I am going to “deposit” this at work!!!! I think I will do what Funny did and start tomorrow at breakfast – then I should be safe at home for later.
So Diane, was it what you expected? You had me worried when you only posted part one of your adventure, I was having these Monty Python visions of you blowing up and exploding. Would you do it again, did the “urge” come unexpectedly or did you have plenty of time? Did it look like the pictures…etc. Just consider this 20 questions of poop and give us the low down.
Anyone else who has tried this feel free to chime in with your experience. Let poopology 101 begin, share your experiences!
Diane
09-21-2006, 04:20 PM
Thanks for raising your hand with a question dascjp1!! Here are the answers to your questions:
1) It wasn't at all what I expected. It was much easier. I was thinking it was going to be terrible. I've taken colon cleanse stuff before & it turned out to be a poop explosion & lots of stomach cramps. This wasn't that way at all!! I just went when I felt like going & it came out just like it always does. There was just a whole lot more then normal. I was afraid the toilet would get clogged, but luckily it didn't.
2) Yes! I would do it again. Now that it's been a week later I feel so much "lighter". My system seems to work better. I can't describe it. You'll understand once you do it.
3) I never had a big urge to go. NEVER!! It was strange that I had to wait to so long, but that was fine. Once I felt like I had to go, there was no running & feeling as if I had to go immediately. It was just normal. Had I been out and about, I feel like I would have easily been able to make it home in time.
4) Mine looked NOTHING like the pictures. The pictures showed a long, rope-like thingy. Mine had no ropes. But, it was much darker then normal. And, I could see that there was extra stuff in it. Kinda like mucusy stuff. Weird things I've never seen. I didn't really examine it that much because I was feeling kinda grossed out by just looking at it!! (hee, hee!!)
Funny, what did yours look like?!? Was it different then the first time!?!? Please chime in at any time. Give us the low-down on the poopin' stuff. :)

Ok, I'm in - no turning back now! Took the first serving this morning. Used some V8 Mango Splash with the powder and spun it in the magic bullet - made it much easier to drink I think. I have a mini-mixer for protein shakes @ work that I will use this afternoon.
Diane I am so looking to feel "lighter" as you say, hopefully this will offer alittle relief. Glad to hear it doesn't sneak up on you but I will be close to home for most of the weekend just in case.
Was it hard on your band going down with either the powder or the pills? I can see how the powder could bulk up if you don't just gulp it down and try and sip it - that would be a problem if it bulked up at the band I suppose.
I will keep you posted, good luck to us all...have a crappy day!

you want to keep drinking throughout the day to make sure it goes through well. it will bulk up if you are not careful.
ok....i will describe it. reluctantly LOL i mean you are talking to a person who doesn't like to burp around people, you think this is easy? LOL
the first time i did it it was much darker than normal. and there was a lot of it. like 3 or 4 times the amount that there is normally. there was no cramping, or urge. it was all pretty solid. and there was a lot of mucous and stuff like diane described.
The second time i did this it was still dark, but not as dark, and there was only about 2x the normal amount.
I broke out both times. I lost 2 pounds the first time, and no weight the second time.
I plan on doing it one last time, and then i am done. At least for a year. :) I have noticed I have less gas, and my tummy is processing food quickly. quicker than normal.

I'm doing Colon Blow today. I took the first dose Saturday at 5pm, and am waiting for the first release (it's just past 18 hrs now).
I do feel a little light-headed, but no cramping. AND no feeling that I may have an accident.
I've only had water between Blow doses.
AND I don't plan to weigh for today till I am finished.

Ok, my colonblow adventure…
First dose Friday @ 6:30 am, 2nd dose @ 11:30 am then the last dose @ 6:30 pm. I drank plenty of water and crystal light throughout the day. The powder really does fill you up – once it mixes with your liquid it kind of becomes a “swill” in your mouth. I used V8 Mango Splash, whipped to death w/the magic bullet – I don’t know if I could have gotten it down just mixed with water. I never felt hungry, lightheaded or anything else through out the day. I did eat a can of split pea soup Friday night @ around 9:00 (which becomes important later).
Saturday morning @ 7:30 was my first adventure, it just felt normal, like I had “to go”. It was much darker and denser than normal and about 2-3 times as much. At about 9:30 nature called again, this time it pretty much looked like the pictures, lots of it and very rope like. There was other “stuff” in there, but it could also be from the “swill” - again I would say 2-3 times as much as normal. Then @ around 2:30 in the afternoon I went again, this time about 3 times as much…and it was “pea soup green” – I guess the soup caught up!!
So that was my adventure, I do feel “cleaner & lighter” if that makes sense. I did not break out or have any other side effects. I will do it again, maybe adjust the dosage times so that they are spread out more.
All in all, what ever that “crap” was I’m glad it’s out of me! I would recommend this as a cleansing method – and now I need a t-shirt that says….”I survived colonblow”!

OK here is my report. Took first dose around yesterday at 8a, second at 1p, last at 7p. Before bedtime at 10p I had three "blows". LOL!! Little rushed but not in danger of an accident. Cleaned me out but good I can tell you. No cramping. No feelings of I better run.
Weighed myself prior to the 'BLOW' and was 273. This morning I am 270.
I LOST THREE POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Just goes to show you how much you are full of "stuff". You thought I was gonna say something else HUH? LOL!!
I would do it again in a heart beat. I wasn't hungry at all. I drank probably two gallons of water, 4 glasses of Plum juice, 3 cups of Green Tea.
So once a month HUH? If I lose 3 lbs every time I do this then in a year I will have lost 36 lbs. HOORAY!! LOL!!!!

Penni!! LOL!!
I just saw this post in my email and I'm laughing so hard! 36 pounds in a year... Now that's some serious weight loss darlin'!
We are having that BBQ this weekend. I think we should surprise everyone and hand out colon blows instead of bbq chicken! LOL!!

Well, I'm thinking that I must have been pretty clean to start. I did magnesium citrate about a month ago and had the true "blow" in 30 minutes experience.
With Colon Blow, I drank my 160 oz of Crystal Light tea; two protein shakes (after first 24 hours). I never felt the need to go, but I was peeing like a horse.
Colon Blow tasted fine in water to me -- there is a touch of cinnamon in it.
I was happy that I didn't block up the toilet as I feared would happen. But it seemed less output than normal. It was light brown in color with the CB fiber evident.
I only lost one pound. I was hoping for 5.
Once I drank a protein drink the lightheadedness and headache disappeared. I don't really feel any different today -- not more energetic, about the same.
I'll do it again in 60 days.
But I think I get better results with an 8 oz glass of prune juice.
I bet you can't guess what's on my list of things to do (or is that poo) this weekend!!

All aboard the Colon Blow train! :woot:
We be blowin' come the weekend!
The Bottom Line:
No Butts About It
Reap the Rewards of the Colon Blow and Check Your Health at the Same Time!!!!:biggrin1:
Just inserting this public service announcement, I don't mean to bum anybody out. And I don't want to be a party pooper. Butt I thought to myself "Holy Crap, I should post about colonscopies again!"
Whenever you have a colonscopy you completely empty your bowels so the doc can insert his teensy weensy teeny tiny itsy bitsy camera in your inner sanctum. The night before you drink some magical fluid and that will be the theme of your evening...fluid. You will be sedated with lovely drugs, feel no pain, lose water weight and you will have that clean refreshed feeling all day long.
So here we go:
"This year, 75,700 women will be diagnosed with colon cancer, compared to 72,600 men. And 28,800 women will die of the disease. The reason — women are not getting screened for the disease as often as their male counterparts.
Colonoscopy is used to detect precancerous colon polyps before they become malignant. It takes approximately five to 10 years for one of those polyps to become cancerous. "By screening people every five to 10 years, we think we can prevent most cancer formation," says gastroenterologist Christine L. Frissora, M.D. In fact, having just one colonoscopy decreases your lifetime risk of dying from colorectal cancer by 68 percent.
In patients with no gastrointestinal problems and not risk factors for colon cancer, the American Cancer Society recommends a first screening colonoscopy at age 50.
However, if you've seen blood in your stool, you should see a doctor right away. If you have any risk factors for colon cancer, such as a history of colon polyps, your doctor may want to order the colonoscopy long before you turn 50. If you have a first-degree family member, such as a sibling or a parent, with colon cancer, you should begin screening at least 10 years before the age your relative was when diagnosed."

First of all....Diva....you are too funny for words. I loved your post....funny and informative.
"Thar She Blows!"
I had my colon blow experience this week. I took the dose at odd times and not the way they said, so I'll be doing it again soon. However, I did get three big - ahem - releases (as they say in their literature) and feel very much better for it.
However, I looked at the ingredients and see that it's 90% psyllium husks, something I was taking pre-band. I used to take 3-4 capsules a day (the painless way) and will attempt to resume my psyllium habit now that I'm settled into my band. They add so much fiber to your system and create such a healthy colon. AND they're about 1/10 the cost of colon blow!
However, for that clean as a whistle feeling...I don't think you can beat the stuff. No explosion, no laxative feeling, no out of control. All in all...a great product. (i can't believe we're talking like this)
Lyn
Okay dose 1 is chugged.
Took it straight in water. Kinda sweet and minty. Does get pretty thick towards the bottom and now it's in "mah belly" It feels like I'm being gently inflated.
Next does is tomorrow morning. So it's fluids only all the way now (and no beer).
May your bowels be with you.
17:30 Saturday:
Dose 1 - Odd minty flavor. Taken in water.
17:30 to 22:30 Saturdary:
Food: Consumed water and about 8fl oz of Skim Milk. No solids.
Feelings: Slightly odd feeling that I need to visit the rest room. Nothing happening when I did visit it. All stop on the bowel express.
07:30 Sunday:
Dose 2 - Taken in water. Made it a little thicker today. Be careful it can really stick in your throat. I almst upchucked.
07:30 to 1230 Sunday:
Food: Water, water, water, coffee... (to be continued)
Feelings: GURGLE GURGLE BLOP BLOP. Heavy feelings down below. Had to sit for a while waiting for the feelings of nausea to pass from choking the dose down. (to be continued)
13:30 Sunday:
3rd Dose. Glad that's done. Now.... I wait.
16:20 Sunday:
Still waiting....
18:20 Sunday:
Definately wanna, definately can't....
19:38 Sunday:
If that was it, I'm sticking with Red Robin's Chilli...
20:52 Sunday:
Pass the chilli sauce with garlic... I think it needs help.
23:00 to 08:00 Sunday / Monday:
Fairly frequent trips to the bathroom (I lost count) but nothing occured as advertised. Mild case of the runs.
10:30 Monday:
Something more like what was advertised occured. Still not spectacular results. Thus far I think I won't be using Colon Blow again.

Nana & Dawg
You guys really need to drink more with your doses. I mixed mine with juice, blended well with the magic bullet, followed up by a crystal light chaser.
If you try to get this down as "swill" you will no doubt be nauseas. Remember, lots of hydration - it is recommended that you drink all day.
Good luck...may the poop be with you!
Deb
I actually used a full 16.9oz bottle of water for each dose. Plus I've consumed more than a gallon in the last 24hrs.
No problem with hydration - as my bladder will testify!

Dawg - This product worked for so many people - it's kind of funny that it didn't work well for you. Must have been the hype, now you won't be walking around the house saying "colon blow" like a scary movie voice over. It had to happen, nothing works for everyone - just amusing that it wound up being you - you would have been so "proud" if it had worked!!!
Nana - any news or did you give up? Maybe you two got an odd batch....

I'm trying again I think I really was just sick the first time I tried it.
I took my first dose last night, 2nd this morning. So far so good not sick this time :)
HINT
If like me you cant stand the taste or grit in it, try it with orange juice it covered most of the taste and I just pretended I was drinking OJ with pulp in it :)

Good luck with becoming a masterpooper, Jess.
Dawg and I tried this back in the day when it was all the rage around here. We still can be heard walking around talking like Arnold, 'Co-lon-blown'.
However, we didn't have a lot of success. In fact, on the bathroom wall at our old house, you can still see these words scratched into the paint:
Here I sit, broken hearted.
Came to sh*t, but only farted.
