Hospital rocked!

My copay for surgery with Cigna is $420. I went to the hospital today for pre-op and across the top of my paperwork, in BIG BOLD letters is "COLLECT TODAY $420"

Well, I go to get check-in and get my checkbook and the lady said "wait a minute - I'm getting you a discount!" She said something about sometimes for people with insurance they give a discount cause it is better to get something than nothing.

Anyway - - got a 30% discount!!! So it is only $294.00 rather than the $420!
