Hey all, went back to the doctor today and had a little visit with my favorite PA evah! The doctor is a conservative sort, but my dear, sweet Julius, the PA, is an aggressive dude and I LURVE him! He added an additional 3cc's to my already 4cc fill for a total of 7cc's in my 10cc band! I CAN FEEL IT! It's a little odd, yet, but I can swollow fine and ate some potato soup and melon for lunch afterward. I even had a tiny bit of soft serve ice cream, because I just want to keep swollowing and feel the restriction. It is so cool! I feel pumped about the coming month. I know that the aggressive fills are over now and from now on it will be little bits to adjust. I was so worried that it was going to take forever. Julius RAWKS!
Also, I actually lost an official 7 pounds in the last month. Whaaa? Where was I? I think I weigh entirely too often. I must cut back - I lose sight of the big picture.
Just wanted to share!

Great news, Momo!! It's a great feeling when you're properly restricted. And, congrats on losing 7 pounds last month.

teehee, I can't imagine not knowing what restriction feels like! So cool. I think I take my band for granted, but I may need a small fill to get that "OH! Wow...yeah...cool restriction!" feeling back.
You are on your way! Woot!

Hey that is great. I have a 10cc band . I had it placed sept 6th 2006 and lost 23lbs first month then nothing since. I gained 5 back and now have lost that. I too have 7cc in it and will go for next fill next week. He will only do 1cc probably versus 2cc since he is conservative also. I too at 7cc felt something different where things like a pork chop or ham would get stuck a little if not chewed well. That is the only thing I felt to say there is a band there. Alot of peple tell me that with a 10cc they did not feel the real restriction till 8 or 9cc so I look so forward to a stronger feeling something is there. So I feel for you, that excitement of wanting to feel like it is finally going to happen and looking forward to that restricted feeling. We have waited months and it is now happeing. I cant wait to see 5 or 6lbs drop each month. So I too am excited for you , keep us updated with how you are doing..... :) :)
That is great Melissa! And 7 pounds in a month is awesome. With your new fill you are going to rock February. Good luck!!

Awww! Thanks guys. I actually feel a little sore right now - kinda like after surgery. I'm hoping that it's not all "swell". Anyway, I'm still stoked. Now I gotta get on Kathy's Lame Exercise Challenge...
Hey, Heather, I had lunch (soup) with my husband after my fill and half expected to run into you at Panera. That would have REALLY made my day. We went to check out his new office - he's moving to the new building tomorrow. 5th floor of the new Palomino Bldg. next to The Wood Group bldg. He's in the "crotch" of the V of the building - his words... Nice view, though.

:) I have never been to Panera. I always have wanted to try it, but we go to the same old places all of the time.
I am right across the street from your husband. :)
And, congrats again on the 7 lbs lost! That is awesome!
