1 - 2/2: 30 min Wii aerobics
2 - 2/2: 40 min Walk (1.94 mi)
3 - 2/4: 1 hour, 48 min (2.91 mi)

We didn't walk slow, and took a 10 minute break at the 1.5 mile marker, then headed back towards home...but it was a good walk! Cool out, a bit windy on the way there and just cool on the way home. I can tell all that walking in March really paid off when it comes to my stamina.

Pretty sad that I had to search to find this thread! That means I've not been updating nearly enough! Back on track this month!

3/31-4/2- Huge amounts of walking and hiking for 3 1/2 days on the island of Catalina. There are no cars really on that island, although you can rent golf carts. We walked for miles and hiked up through a neat trail at the botanical gardens etc. I'm counting this as exercise for these days. :) This was a very neat birthday get away my husband secretly planned for me...A-mazing :)

4/4- 3.53 mile walk

I don't know if it's the change in weather (colder) or just the seasonal change...but I am dragging my wagon and SO tired 24/7. So I'm just resting and doing what my body apparently wants - nothing lol...but I'll be back at it soon!

Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!

4. 4/5 - 1 hour work out
5. 4/6 - 1 hour cardio

7. 7/9 - 45min hour cardio

Todays cardio was stepped up just a little. started out on the treadmil and warmed up for 10 minutes at a pace of 5.0mph, at the 10 min mark raised the elevation to level 4 for another 10 min at the same 5 mph. Then went to 2 mph at 0 elevation for 2 min then back to 5 mph for 10 min at 0 elevation and the raised it to level 4 for another 10 min's. Did this until the 45 minute mark. This kicked my butt to say the least!

Hi Mo and everyone else going for the April workout challenge. I am seeing the foot doctor tomorrow but I have been doing floor exercises and walking as much as I can. I plan on getting my bicycle tires filled and then I will be going for a spin everyday. I did a lot of walking last week at Disneyland!

I am such a slacker ...but although I haven't been doing formal exercise - I have been up at 7am on a Saturday to walk at a rummage sale held by 35 families of multiples (twins/triplets) for two HOURS -- and LOTS of re-arranging still going on - painting, cleaning, more cleaning lol getting things ready before our grandbaby gets here at the end of June - ironically I am losing weight again so I must be moving enough!

Sorry you have a sinus infection Trail...and awesome Pamela on starting some exercise, I can imagine how tired you are from Disney - it is nothing but walking!

well, we took a few days off and relaxed. Today we started another 12 week program with our trainer. I figured since we had such good results the first time and I still need to lose another 20 pounds to hit my goal, I might as well do it right. So here we go again.

um, am I the only one who noticed that I was putting February dates?? rofl at myself......oye

I've been sleeping a LOT of hours this last week and couldn't figure out what my problem was...today I woke up with a very sore throat. I'm praying it leaves as fast as it arrived. Sciatica also started up in my LEFT leg now - which it never does - so I guess my body is saying to REST - that's what I'm doing for now, sigh

Arrrghh!! I have to come here to confess that I have been SUCH A FLAKE ON MY EXERCISE the last month!! I started out okay this month but it seems as if after my husband had his surgery and I took a week off from walking..it has turned into just an entire mess! What in the world! I was a walking fool...and for some reason, I cannot get back into it. I graduate from college on the 16th of May and I think this last semester (full load) has just kicked my backside. But that is still no excuse, I had a decent load last semester and I made sure I still never missed my walking. It is so strange how that happens...I was SO gung-ho. I also think I am "giving myself an excuse to stop walking for awhile" because starting May 1st, I joined a cross-fit gym...so I will be doing that 4-5 times a week with a friend (accountability!!) so I tell myself..."oh I'll just start May 1st.." GEEZE LOUISE. So ridiculous.

Anyways..I am admitting I am an exercise flake. Luckily, I am an absolute ROCKSTAR when it comes to my eating habits, etc. I go to the doctor for my monthly check up today and I'm pretty sure I have dropped 8-9 lbs this month. That will push me up to 74-75 lbs lost in 8 months since surgery. I cannot begin to tell you how happy that makes me!!!

I actually allowed a full-body shot of myself to be posted on Facebook the other day...(yes.I realize I'm still sort of hiding behind my son LOL!) But for ME..this was huge!!! I haven't posted a body shot of myself in years. :)

I'll check in after my doc's appointment and I am sorry I am a bad exercise accountability friend this month :(

EDITED: I just got home from my doctors appointment and I LOST 9 POUNDS last month!!!! :) :)

Here I am, down 75 lbs! We were being totally silly, it was right before his little league game. I need to find a before picture someday. I took one the day of surgery, however, it's in my bra and underwear, which I take a new one every single month just like that but I cannot share those. LOL! I was a size 22...these pants are a size 14 (larger 14 than normal I think because I can still wear some 16's too.) I am so thankful for this surgery.
