This has happened to me with more than a few people it cracks me up. I have a friend Stacey, mum of one of Ewan's school friends - just someone I'll chat to at footy or basketball or whatever. Anyway footy season finished back in September and I just kind of push the kids out of the car and keep driving at school, I dont go into the school anymore so I havent seen her for a while.

I've run into her twice lately and she's just sort of gawped at me :eek: Hehehe, she looked like a stunned mullet, just had her mouth open, but she didnt actually say anything. I dont think she realised how much her expression said. You can tell she was thinking "holy shit, how has she done that" but didnt want to say it.

Cracks me up, it happens all the time. Weight loss is a funny thing because you still look like you but you dont.

Jachut, that is too funny. I can't wait to see that happen. My in laws don't even know I have had surgery and we won't see them until June of next year. I cant wait to see the looks on their faces when I get off the plane.

That is great. I can't wait until people start looking at me because I look good instead of because I am fat. Getting there, but not to your point yet. Great job!

Thanks twin :) I just don't feel good when I look in the mirror yet. Maybe it will take me a while.

Neal, I was just looking at your website and you have come so far! You look awesome and that is just what you need to keep telling yourself. We are all convinced and you just need to jump on the bandwagon here! Great Job.

Oh, I dont always feel it either, but I must look more different than I realise. I had to replace my drivers licence today as I lost it, and it was a nice bonus getting a licence that I will have for 10 years with my pic at a reasonable weight rather than a fatty boombah staring back at me. I was comparing it with my student card taken 3 years ago, and boy, I dont know who that other person was!

OK, ladies, it is time to have business cards made with the name of our doctors and bariatric program, plus the url for B2G.
The heading could read boldly: I lost it with a Lap-Band. You can, too!

AND everytime you see "those" faces, just hand them a card with a wink.
