There's no Forum for MX docs, I'm I'm fairly certain a few of you were banded by Dr Sanchez. Here's the link from another board

I wouldn't post it but it appears to be true. I hope it isn't...it's very sad. :(

According to the article it's Dr Jesus Sanchez Rodriguez...I don't know if that's the same as Rodolpho Sanchez, but the Dr who was murdered was an obesity surgeon...still looking for answers. Anyone know anything? What about Dr Rodriguez?

OMG! I just saw Dr. Sanchez in the hospital in Monterrey on the 9th of Nov.! I am just shocked. I can't believe this has happened to him.

Yes it is Dr. Sanchez.
I called his office today and got the details. He went to his ranch early Saturday morning to pay his ranch hands. Dr. Suzanne went with him. After he paid his ranch hands and turned around to go back to his vehicle one of his hired hands shot him twice in the back. He was bleeding bad when they got him to the hospital, both shots lodged in his stomach and before they could get him in the O.R. he bled to death.

Such a shame. The sweetest, most passionate, caring surgeon I've ever had and I've had a bunch. He helped thousands and thousands of people and then his life just gone in an instant.

Myself and a girl who had surgery the same day as I are flying down there this weekend.

Pray for his precious wife.

Oh, I was so hoping it wasn't true. Thanks for the whole story mysherrijo. I'm so sorry for his practice, his patients, his family. It's just a shame. :(

I have only heard wonderful things from the patients of Dr. Sanchez and his death is a loss to the community.

My thoughts will be with his family.

This is such sad news. I didn't know him personally, but I too have only heard good things about him. I will definately be keeping his wife and family in my prayers.
