First, let me say.. Patrick: "I am banding in my head" suddenly begins to make sense!
So, three months into life with a band, and no fills, and things going good ... when...
sick for a week, no exercise for two weeks, and... bad habits creep right back in to this head of mine. thank God I have the awareness now to recognize them! Bad habits like.. I am physically NOT hungry; the band and protein really has taken care of that. But my head wants to go to munchieland every time I blink... yikes!!! I shouldn't be surprised though; rewarding myself with food, destressing with food, celebrating with food are all actions that brought me to bandy land... duuuhh!!!
anyway... the point is that 3 months into it I'm pretty sure my body is happy having the band in here... I don't hear any limb or muscle complaining about that missing 80 pounds... but now it's time to settle into a new mental life as well. wierd side effect... not living in the kitchen sure does leave me with a lot of time on my hands.. seriously!! man am I getting a lot of stuff done! Still, "vigilance" seems to be the word of the day now; the band is doing its part; I need to do mine.
Just letting you in on the continuing efforts of the bandyman...
