I can't directly answer your question, but I can give you my observations of local groups. When I joined, there seemed to be a lot more activity within each area as far as grouping and get togethers. That seems to have changed as more and more internet options opened up (ie facebook, etc). Seems to be a phase and I think that anything that is worthwhile will always come back (just look at fashions). I know that the Carolinians have certainly currently phased out. There is still some contact, but some I have talked to seem to currently be keeping track of each other more on facebook than here. The disadvantage is that the important issues regarding the band will not be able to be discussed to the depth that it can be on here.
