Hi Everyone,

Have not posted too much lately, but I still try and check the board daily.
I have been suffering from "plataeu syndome"....same weight for five months!!! But, yesterday I experienced a wonderful NSV which is keeping me motivated and positive: I walked in a Christmas parade with my daughter and the school choir!!!!! I best thing about it was I was not tired or hurting when we finished the parade instead I was energerized. Walking in this parade was nearly surreal for me, since last year I could barely make it to the mailbox without pain!!!
Loving my band.....

Oh Margo, that's wonderful! Don't worry about that dang ole scale. We ALL plateau. Way back in Jan 2006, almost a year ago, I was struggling to get below 190. This morning I was 174.0 Don't think with that slooooow loss I haven't hit a few plateaus this year. It comes off. It does! Hang in there, and concentrate on the wonderful benefits of what you have accomplished so far! Fabulous!!!!!

Margo - what a great NSV!

A five month plateau? Seems like a pretty long time, to me. If I am the same weight for more than a month, I'm off to my fill clinic. I would look into another fill.

Keep you measurements as well. One thing I learned from dieting all my life is that the scale can be decieving! good luck and keep plugging and check into getting a fill.

I did get a fill just about 2 weeks ago and I am definiately feeling good resriction, so hopefully it will help me.

Hey, good what??? Another NSV today! My mom is out of town and her snow plow guy never showed up. I am picking her up tonight so I knew I had to shovel out her driveway. So, I hopped into the car and shoveled her whole driveway by myself....it felt great!!!

I love NSV's. They can keep us going when the scale does it's sticking thing. Walking NSV's are my favourites and I love how much more I can do now. Walking in a parade and feeling good at the end of it is a great achievement and you should pat yourself on the back.

Hey Margo :) You dear sweet woman, stop being such a stranger around here. I loved your NSV story. What a blessing it is to be able to truly LIVE again eh? It's fun to look nice, buy smaller clothes, hear the compliments.. but this kind of NSV is what rings my bell. I'm very very happy for you sweetie!

*hugs*

hey margo keep the faith, I know the feeling. I have also hit a plataeu for about a month now. I had a grt feeling yesterday myself. I went to buy a new pair of slacks and the size I thought I needed was wrong, I needed a size SMALLER size. wow what a eye opener and a grt feeling.
