My dh doesn't want me to have it done. But I am going to do it anyway, any ideas on how to bring him onboard?

Start by asking what his objections are.
Perhaps you can defeat his fears and objections rather then just twist his arm.

I posted a thread about this before my surgery in October. My DH is not supportive either. He says I'm fine the way I am. But, he told me that he was happy for me. After surgery things are pretty rocky. He is very resentful of my surgery and uses it as the reason we fight. I tell ya, if you value your relationship, try to talk things through and come to an understanding, because things dont get better with time. Message me privately if you want to talk.

Yup, my spose never thought I was heavy enough. Didn't really care if I lost weight...looks wise. He did care for health reasons but didn't understand why I couldn't just do it on my own. I think he gets it now but it's been a process. He'll come around. Did you really break down and let him know that even if he doesn't agree with it you really need his support? That's what it took for me.
