If you remember Tennie McCarty on 'Ruby', you know the type of therapy she does. Tennie nows has her own series on OWN. I didn't realize that she was in Texas. I was thinking Shades of Hope (http://www.shadesofhope.com/staff/tennie-mccarty.html)was in Savannah, since Ruby is there.
It should be interesting to watch and see if it triggers my own food issues.

Goodness, the first episode was almost too much for me. I'm thinking this is where Wynonna Judd went to lose weight. I seem to remember it in her memoir.
I think Heavy is more my style. This lockdown is too much like jail. Plus, that Elizabeth is already on my last nerve.

LOL...I thought it was just me - I agree about Elizabeth...I'll keep watching for a bit and see how it goes...but I like Heavy more too

I like both shows. I don't like Elizabeth either but I find it interesting that folks with anorexia/bulemia suffer from the same sort of issues that we do. I'm watching Addicted to Food and sometimes it scares me that there is so much that applies to me. Not the abuse, etc. I have great parents but some of the emotional things relating to food. Its interesting to see how Tennie teaches them to deal with their issues.
