Wrap it in foil with whatever seasonings, spices etc you have to hand and just a dob of butter, bake it in the oven or on the BBQ.

I dont think pan frying in a non stick pan with just a quick burst of cooking spray is really a problem either.

I just had fish for dinner. 1 Tilapia filet, set on a baking pan with non-stick foil. Douse in lemon juice, sprinkle salt/pepper, top with thin sliced onion (I didn't eat the onion part) and a tad of shredded cheddar. 350 oven for about 20 min. Yum!

I love ANY kind of fish (except Tuna) fixed ANY kind of way.
I loved Blackend Fish, also I do love Fried Fish! Drenched in tartar sauce of course :)

I also like to bake it, then top it with a little parmesian under the broiler for a few minutes

BEST *EASY* fish recipe
(I am also a fan of the fish - any fish, any time!!)

This recipe tastes good on ANY and ALL fishes I've tried it on! My favs are cod, tilapia, and haddock (I like white, flaky fishes!!):

- On a baking sheet, place foil
- Place fish on foil and curl foil up to form a "blanket" around the fish
- Squeeze 1/2 lemon over fish (or sprinkle with lemon juice)
- Spray with butter (or leave a couple pieces of butter or margarine atop)
- Sprinkle with parsley (sprinkle = light dusting)
- Sprinkle with onion flakes (or mince real onion and place on top)
- Sprinkle with garlic
- Sprinkle with paprika
- Seal foil on top of fish
- BAKE! (I usually bake for 10-15 minutes on 350 degrees... but follow the directions for the fish you've purchased!

ENJOY!

Jess

Those are favs. Easy to fix and just the right amount. Although, when I was newly banded, I could only eat half of it.

george forman grill is the only way to eat fish, gives it a whole new taste.

I sue both the george forman grill ( great for veg too) or wrap in foil and steam with herb/spices- I find any white flaky fish was the easiest to start with but now even though I have swallowing problems, fish is easier than meat, I love swordfish or barramundi occasionally but in small amounts- i find it fills me quickly
I am now about to go an take a swordfsh steak from the freezer!!

I, too, like fish. Unfortunately, DH can't stand it. Doesn't even like it being cooked in the same place as whatever he is eating - like oven or BBQ. So, I don't get it very often, or else I cook mine after his whatever is done.
