Hey everybody! I'm new to this board. I just found it today, and it is awesome. I was banded November 16, 2005 by Dr. Sanchez. I have reached my goal weight and am maintaining thus far, but the holidays are killing me. I am divorced and have one child. I am truely enjoying life these days. It's so nice to meet y'all!

I've been very fortunate with my band. I eat according to band rules: protein, veggies, fruit, then carbs. I haven't hade a Coke in over a year now and thats what amazes me the most. I try to work out 3 times a week. Other than that, I just feel like I eat "normally" now!

Oh and about the Holidays.. I got a great fill prior to Thanksgiving and it's keeping me under great control. God, I love this band! hehe

Holidays! I found I could eat way too much dinner. Scheduled a fill for next week. I want to lose 8 more lbs by Christmas. The whole family will be seeing me for the first time.
