Hair Loss - question

I have a question about hair loss with the band. They skimmed over this in the seminar and I thought maybe I could get a clearer answer from those that have the band and have had it or are dealing with it. (I'm not banded yet...)

What are we talking about....lots of loss, minimal loss...shedding excessively? I have really thick hair, but a fairly short hair cut. After I had my child I had some hair loss and it really freaked me out. Can anyone share what they've experienced with this?

I have not had any hair loss at all. I think is differs from person to person. My hair has ALWAYS been thin, but it has not gotten any thinner.

I didn't have much loss until about 5 months out from surgery. There is a lot to pick up in the shower now. I also have very thick hair so I don't see any effect from it. I have heard that it all grows back in.

I lost quite a bit. It was freaky, but since I have so much, I didn't mind an awful lot.

It started toward the end of my fourth month. I lost large balls every day for almost two months. I would say I lost about a quarter of my total volume, but it is coming back in less noticeably than I anticipated.

No harm.

Some people say Biotin, some huge amounts of Protein, some even use special shampoos. If they work, it is almost impossible to say.

A little hair loss in the grand scheme is a small price to pay. I think bandsters probably lose less than GB'ers because of the slower loss (again, hard to prove). ;)

I havent had any, but I shed like nuts anyway, the bathroom is always plastered in hair. So is the carpet, the bed etc etc. But my hair is pretty fine and I never noticed any different to its thickness or look at all.
