I just checked and ran my numbers and guess what: If I were to start this journey today, I would not qualify. That is a very good feeling!! I pasted the part of the page that gave me the results. Had to brag a little.-

AWESOME Neal! I am afraid I would still qualify since I am newly banded.

That's such a cool NSV Neal! Can't wait till that's me, but with a starting BMI of 51.5, and a brand new band, it will take a while. :heh:

My BMI is 26 now, so no, even in Australia I wouldnt qualify.

However, judging by the percentage body fat the gym calculated on Monday I have my doubts, lol. I think their scales were wrong (they just used a body fat scale), there's no way I could be "fatter" than I was before I had surgery. We had some of those body fat scales and they used to vary insanely, up and down by 5 or 6%

Nope, not me. I no longer qualify. But I swear, with what I know about this band, I would STILL want it to help me get this last 65 pounds off. I know people look at others in a negative light if they "ONLY" have less than 100 pounds to lose. But seriously, I'd be getting my arse to Monterrey for a band right now if I couldn't get one here in the states. Thank God I do have my band, and it will be with me on this next leg of the journey. :woot:

I still qualify, as long as I still need to use the weigh station on the highway to check in for the L3 club, I will still qualify. My long term goal is to own one of those little trendy glass scales and not think, "If I step on that I will need stitches".

I no longer qualify, but I would still get it if I had to lose this one for any reason. I don't trust me without my band!

I agree with Heather and P'Nut - I am so glad I have it because I know Iw ould gain back what I lost without it.
