Fill doc booked up after Thanksgiving!

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate well for several days after. I tried some restraint, but found that I could eat waaayyyy more that I should be able to. Hmmm! Time for a fill.

Called the clinic first thing Monday morning. On terminal hold. Tried 3 more times before I got finally through. No time slots available until the end of NEXT WEEK! What? Is everyone getting after-the-holiday fills ... like me? :rolleyes:

Yes. But couldn't get one this week. Actually, the northwest is in grips of terrible weather, so I wouldn't have been able to get there anyway.

Stitchy, I know the feeling, I went to schedule my first fill and they don't have anything open until Jan 3rd!!! I was not due until Dec 22nd but I feel sorry for anyone who needed a post Thanksgiving fill.

Jill, that is exactly how I feel. That IS all I want for Christmas...LOL

I got my fill today. I told my somewhat conservative fill nurse that I had a deadline next spring. DH and I are retiring and going to travel in our motorhome for an indefinite amount of time. I wouldn't be here for more fills. She said "Hmmm. You have 40 lbs to goal. You can do that in 4 months." She gave me more that she would have at this point because I only live an hour away. Yeah! I'm gonna' make it.
