Okay, this is going to sound very weird I know. I have restriction when I eat low fat yogurt but not when I eat regular solid foods ie: bread, meat, oatmeal, pretty much anything. Does anyone else feel restriction only when eating something you don't think you would have restriction on? I don't have restriction when I eat ANYTHING else.

Thats odd.

Is the yogurt plain? If i have yogurt with berries, it get 'caught' up.

..come to think of it, everytime I take a bite of son's pudding, it either comes back up or takes forever to go down.. whick is WHY I only take 1 bite.

Maybe its our pouch reacting (causing restriction) to the cold food?

It's key lime yougurt. I eat flavored yogurt but it is smooth. no berries. I guess yogurt will be my saving grace until I finally get restriction with everything else.

Bizarre isnt it what foods go down easily and what dont.

Banannas, ugh. Impossible. Hard boiled eggs, forget it. But I can still eat a loin chop easily.

I have been using the yogurt to my advantage and have lost 6 lbs in one week. I know that is too fast. but I am still eating 1200-1500 calories and working out 30 minutes a day. Hopefully I can keep this up. I am getting my fourth fill this friday (december 1st). Hopefully I will have restriction. Getting a little tired of yogurt.

yoghurt does that to me too.
I wonder if its the overall viscosity of the stuff. It does have a tendency to just blob and stay in that shape. Plus the lower fat stuff I have noticed has a higher fiber content listing. Maybe bulking agents?

I can eat bread with no real problem, in fact a sandwich is the BEST lunch for me becuase I dont get blocked but it sits for hours, I never get hungry after I've eaten a sandwich. But I only eat good wholegrain low GI bread, no white stuff.

I can eat crackers of all kinds (not that I do very often) except for Barbecue Shapes. We have these little savoury crackers here, Barbecue Shapes, Savoury Shapes, Pizza Shapes, Cheese shapes - in the same vein as animal crackers or similar. Man, they are DEADLY for me, they are seriously the only food I've come close to PBing on and thats after just eating one or two.
