First bite

I ate for the first time today since surgery. I have been living on protein shakes and water. I ate a banana, well a half of it mashed up w/ a drop of milk,and a dash of splenda. It was very good. I don't like bananas much, but I feel hungry and wanted something other than soup. I can have soft veggies tomorrow, I have never wanted carrots so bad.
