Ok so I think we planned on Sunday the 17th @ 4ish. Well of course the train ride is 3:30 that afternoon. So I will miss out unless we can change it back to the 16th @ 2:30? So should we put a vote out there? Thoughts?

This is going to be a hard month especially on the weekends! I know that that Saturday we will be hanging with the in-laws cause we won't see them for Christmas.

We have birthday party to attend that day. I won't be able to make it.
I cannot juggle like Kim does. I don't know how she does it. I would be nuts being that busy.

My daughter has plans every sat in Dec. Monsters Inc on ICe, then the next week her 6th birthday party, the week after is another girls birthday, then xmas and new years. Whew. I cannot beleive we have all that going on. Chloe's birthday is Dec 12 and she has her xmas pagent that night.

Plus, the three birthday celebrations, the three T's (mom and dad), School, and friends party. That's alot of cake.

I actually thought about how much food the three of us eat and waste.
I alsmot cannot justify the cost of cupcakes and cakes, especially since you wind up with so much. By the way, were cooking thanksgiving dinner.

How far from Concord is this Ruby Tuesday's? If I'm feeling up to it, maybe I could come. I have no idea how I'll be feeling by then, but if I'm healing well I would love to come meet you all! Hubby doesn't like to drive in big cities, though, and I won't be able to drive yet. Dr. B said a week after surgery and that won't be until Monday, Dec. 18. I still want to have a protein shake party but I don't know how many will actually fit in my room. We'll see! It's only a little over a week away!

Lind2times, where are you coming from? I live south of Charlotte off of I-85. I take I-485 east, take the Arrowood exit off of I-485, and turn left into Ruby Tuesdays.

If you are coming from Red Robin...you take 85 south to 77 south...past downtown and take the Arrowood Exit. Go to your right and take a right at the light and it's right there. You really can't miss it.

Speaking of...we have a list of NC bandsters...with address, email, phone numbers. If you would like to be on it either email or pm and I will add you to the list then I will bring a copy of the updates with me next Saturday.

I know it would be a bit closer for Judie but here is my thought: Tonya is here from Ashville there is a Rudy Tuesdays near her motel or even on at Concord Mills. She could come and join us if we all promised to eat soup. :-) I don't know for sure since she isn't on but I thought it would be fun if we could have here with us.

Kathy I'm so glad we meet today. You look good and thanks so much for talking to me about the smoking addiction with Garry it did help me. I'm very proud of you! When you discribed going out to to the deck I think it really clicked for me.

Tonya if you can't meet us at the restuarant would you mind us stopping by? I have SEVERAL different flavors of protien drinks for you. Hopefully they will work for you. I know have a variety is helpful. It's gets boring.

So it's Ruby Tuesday's, Exit 60, at 2:30. Cool! I'll look again in the morning just to be sure. Hubby ate lunch there and I had soup. It was a vegetable soup and I just asked if they could give me just broth. There were a few solid things in there but I just picked them out. It was really good! The other two options I don't think would really work for me because one was broccoli and cheese (mmmm good, but probably not 4 days post-op) and chicken chili. Hubby got the chicken chili and said it was really good but the broth was kinda thick. The vegatable broth was a little thick but it hasn't bothered me so far and I have had a protein shake since eating that broth. It was just so nice to have something warm to eat! So, hopefully I'll see at least a lot of you tomorrow!

I can come!!! I'm so excited! Well, yeah I am I feel bad for Garry but happy for me!! Poor guy is in Pensicola and his flight got messed up and they told him he couldn't get home until Monday! So he said the heck with that and has been driving home since 2 this afternoon.

So NO IN-LAWS!!! Even if he does drive all the way home tonight he won't feel like driving there tomorrow!

Coolies! Thanks, Kim! I am still struggling with the whole protein thing. I could probably get the protein in me, but I'm afraid to put too much in my new little pouch. So am I literally just supposed to sip constantly? How am I supposed to go to the bathroom, type, or walk if I'm sipping either water or protein constantly? At least I will eventually be able to eat real food! Right now, I have no desire to eat real food so no problems!

I did not know the location changed. I was given directions to the Ruby Tuesdays off I-77. I was there with Pat and ornaments in hand at 2:30.
I guess I learned to check this site more often. I never imagined that the location would change after everything was set.

I feel terrible. OMGosh!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry you guys!!! I sat there and wondered if anyone showed up at Arrowood, and hoped noone did, and there you were! :tsk: I'm really sorry!!!! Angie called me, on her way to Arrowood, and hadn't checked the boards so she didn't know about the change, either. She ended up not coming.

With Judy driving from the Raleigh area and Tonya 5 days out from Lap RNY, it just seemed a shame to get them to drive all the way down to Arrowood. Anyway, I'm really sorry!

I always check the board the morning of, just in case, but I think I'm on more often than you working girls. I still feel terrible. I hope your lunch was good, though! :(

Pat and I survived. We had lunch at Arrowood and then went to Macys....they had a great sale...spent alot of $$$$'s. We will be at the next meeting. Is it Jan 6th????
