Is there a list of food that are strickly forbidden as a badnster. I am still in the process of making a decision. We are 60 and retired and go out a lot and go on several vacations a year. Can I do this? I have been the same weight for 10 years, do not fluctuate and can take it off but can't keep it off. I don't want it for the weight as I do being in more control of my diabetes and getting off CPAP.

I read this forum every day and am learning every day but no one actually gives a DO NOT EAT under any circumstances list. It all seems to be individual. Is there anything I will absolutley not be able to eat eventually, in strict moderation. I am okay with the restriction but want to know what I absolutley positively will have to forgo forever. Been to the seminarr but don't have a surgeon appt. till mid February. With my insurance there is no delay except for tests and I have had most of them for other reasons, so when I see the surgeon I want to be sure.

Right now my biggest hurdle is NOT drinking with my meal. So very hard not to do. It is 4:30 I am making dinner and am very hungry. Just popped 3 cherry tomatoes in my mouth and KNOW I did not chew them enough! Love salad. I get the steak thing but is there that ONE list that will guide me into making this decision on whether to do it or not. The fact that I am questioning the surgery, does that mean I should not do it. Everyone else seems so sure and can't wait. I just keep saying "Can I do it?" Is it just me? I am a realist for sure. Doesn't anyone else ever question the decision?
