anyone have an answer?

Hi all, I joined earlier this week and I just had a simple question. I was banded 8 days ago. Well today I went and sat in my hammock and when I went to get up I started itching around the port area on my stomach. Well when I lifted my shirt it looks like a stich came out. Anyone know if ths is normal for the stich to come out that soon. Thanks

I had tape over my incisions so I'm not sure. I do know that if youre in any pain, or the area around the incision begins to bleed, ooze, swell and get red or hot to the touch, you should get in to see your doc right away. If you have none of these symptoms, I'd not worry about it. :)

I'm doing very well. Not showing any of those symptons. My doc did put tape on tthem I just got a little freaked out when I had seen the tape come up. It looked like a stich. Anyways my next visit is Thursday. All the shoulder gas has stopped. I feel great and I can't wait to be slim. My children have already commented on my clothes looking baggy. And it's 8 days!. Thanks for the replys
