Just wanted to say thank you to all my wonderful friends who have helped me through this hard time these past few days. Boy was this one a rough road to tow....just cant wait to be banded cuz it will be like a walk in the park compared to what I just went through. The Dr. had a hard time to get the mass our of me it at attatched itself to everything insite and enveloped my tubes and ovaries. I was very sick when it was all done and over with had a temp of 102.8 and didn't get home til wed night. He promised to tell me everrthing when I went to my 3 week check up. My mom actually did show up to take me to the surgery but well...........that was pretty much it. She left shortly afterwards. I tried to ask her what he said and she was like he said he had a hard time gettin it all out but he got it.....I was like that was it? she said oh I dont know! Gee thanks! Anyways.........thanks to my friends Melly Mel(Telly) and Tricia K Who so patientely tried to talk to me the other night when I was gorked out my mind. I was the joke of the nurses for not being the typical "nurse"patient all I ever wanted was ice packs ice chips and zofran when pukin and my dilaudid when pca was empty and when they took it away i wanted my percoct and the above mentioned things. Thought I was well enough to walk alone(I wasnt)lol learned the hard way. SO now I am home......anyone want someone to come drive them nuts for ice packs and pain meds? my kids are making me CRAZY...........mom I need to go here mom you need to do this mom this mom that......all I say is MOM CANT DO ANYTHING!!!!! NO CAR NO NOTHING!! Bathroom.....couch...computer for a sec and back to bed...not too many stairs ....It goes in one ear and out the other. So anyways...........sorry for the rant...but I am back....delerious at times....thank god the temp is gone.....wish the pain were. wish i could see incision site under the fupa a little better then i can...gosh it hurts to raise it to try and look...any suggestions? Thanks again everyone for being there for me! Hope all is going well with everyone!
